Sunday May 10th is Mothering Day and Coming of Age Graduation. It is our custom to invite all families to come to the service and honor our caregivers and celebrate our young teens who are emerging into a new phase in their lives- they will graduate from their Coming of Age program- moving toward the more independent involvement in our church community as volunteers, Youth Group members, and role models for our youngest ones to look to. We’ll have space in Fellowship Hall to gather with your child if you’d like to take a break from the service, and as always the lounge is available for quiet play. There will be no official RE classes on this day.
