Come one! Come all! We need your help with the 2026 UUCW Incredible Auction!
This is the fifth online auction for UUCW! We are excited to offer services, experiences,
and gift cards (our best sellers) once again. The auction runs February 28 – March 7,
2026 with the final hours of the auction coinciding with the Cool Beans Coffee Hour on
March 7. Bid high and bid often!
We need the help from members of the congregation to approach local vendors
on behalf of UUCW for gift cards. If you visit a restaurant frequently, or your best friend
owns a hair salon, then we need your help! You may also donate your talents like a
guitar lesson or an apple pie made to order. If you are able to assist, please indicate
your donation in our form. The link is bit.ly/Auction2026uucw or you can scan the QR code :

We have raised the following from our four auctions:
2021 – $3713
2022 – $5,653
2023 – $5,891
2024 – $5,247
For the 2024 auction, these items had the most bids:
Native Plant Consult for Your Home Yard/Garden
Choose & Mix Korean Food: $25 gift card
Director’s Tour of the 21st ArtsWorcester Biennial
Val’s Restaurant $50 gift card
We are aiming for $10k this year, but higher is always better. Let’s make a million! For
more info, see Robin Mitzcavitch or Ana Gregory.
PS! If you are not sure how to approach a possible donor, here is how you do it:
SCRIPT: How to Ask a Vendor for a Gift Card
You: “Hi Henry, as you know, I am a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church
of Worcester. I’ve been a member there for nearly X years. We are having our
annual auction to raise funds for our outreach initiatives and social programs,
and I am wondering if you can donate a gift card? We would post your business’
name and logo on our auction site and you will gain a new customer. What do you think?
Henry: Of course I will! That’s an easy and smart thing for me to do!
As usual, we thank you for all YOU do for our church and the community we serve!
“Bidding” You Good Luck!
