Join us for a Peace Vigil this Wednesday at 5:30

With the sun setting earlier, we’ve got one more opportunity to gather for a Peace Vigil at UUCW around the peace pole.  We will meet from 5:30-6:30 PM or until it’s too dark to see our music. What began in response to the June bombing on Iran is still needed with many wars continuing around the world, ICE crack downs, national guard troops in our cities, the government shut down…so many reasons for us to do what we can to lift our spirits and be in community together.   Join us for songs and readings, light a candle, and stand in solidarity.  We have a collection of music and if you have the Rise Up Singing songbook, bring it with you or words to some favorite songs that move you.  Signs are welcomed.  Bring flashlights/smartphone.  Bring your children, neighbors and friends. Singing on key is not a requirement.
