Join us for a Peace Vigil this Wednesday at 6:00

If what you’re bombarded with from social media, radio and TV are getting you down, come lift your spirits by joining us at our Peace Vigil at UUCW, gathering around the peace pole.  We will now be meeting from 6 to 7 PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings. What began in response to the June bombing on Iran is still needed with no end in sight for wars around the world, ICE crack downs, threats of national guard troops, and policy wars on free speech, people experiencing poverty, immigrants and anyone needing social services and believers in climate change.  Let’s come together with songs and readings, light a candle, and stand in solidarity.  If you have the Rise Up Singing songbook, bring it with you or words to some favorite songs that move you. We have a wonderful collection of songs that we can share with you, too. Signs are welcomed.  Bring your children, neighbors and friends. Singing on key is not a requirement.
