The Get Out the Vote Team will be meeting this month on Thursday, April 30th,  6:30-7:30 PM by zoom.  We will celebrate the passage of the YES vote on Virginia’s special election for redistricting (woo hoo!), debrief from the March 28th No Kings events that so many folks from UUCW attended (seems so long ago!) and I will share the details of the UUA’s Good Trouble Campaign for 2026.  

The UUA’s Side with Love and UU the Vote leadership team have some very aggressive goals for us this year.  In addition to goals for making phone calls and sending out letters and postcards to prospective voters, they include some practical and timely activities like Community Safety Defense Training.  If you’d like a preview of this year’s Good Trouble Congregation goals to increase voter participation as we head towards the Mid-Term elections, click here.
