Please wish our Youth Group and their chaperones well as they travel this weekend for 4 days to live and work at Deep Roots in Maryland. Because of transportation, food and stay costs, this trip can be very expensive to many youth and their families.
At UUCW we like to ensure that all youth can have the opportunity to experience this work service trip which helps families who are experiencing homelessness.
Deep Roots is run by volunteers who maintain this large farm and all its facilities and shelter spaces. We have been volunteering here for over 15 years.
