The Side with Love Taskforce has been organizing multiple opportunities for UUCW to put our faith into action. 

Get Out the Vote: Interested in joining others to create change by mobilizing voters? Join the “Get out the Vote” working group to learn how others are dedicating time and resources to this effort. Email Ruth Silver or Beth Posner-Waldron at for more information and visit https://www.uuthevote.org/ for upcoming actions with other UUs.

Can you spare an hour or two to join us in Phonebanking to Get Out the Vote?

There’s now 2 weeks left before the election.  Your phone call can make a difference to a prospective voter who needs the tools to make a plan to vote.

Two ways to participate and call:

  • 10/20, 5-7 PM ET, dial yourself with Reclaim Our Vote
  • 10/21, 7-9 PM ET, auto-dialer with UUtheVote

No experience needed.  If you can talk on the phone and attend a zoom meeting, you can do this!  Read more about it…

For 10/20, Contact Beth/Ruth at to sign up and receive tips and instructions for participating with Reclaim Our Vote.  We will be using the “dial yourself” method to call Georgia.

For 10/21, Click here to sign up with UUtheVote. Read these FAQs that include the script and instructions for the Thru Talk Auto-Dialer system we’ll be using for making calls to Wisconsin.   

Once you’re signed up, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to the zoom meeting to join on the date you chose for phonebanking together.

Put your faith into action!  Fight voter suppression and systemic racism!  Protect our democracy by involving more people in the voting process!
