Join Side with Love for our new activity, the Activist Reading Group. This group is for anyone looking to understand their place in the current political climate and how they can contribute to meaningful changes in the community. In each meeting, we will discuss a book or other resource related to community activism.

Our first reading will be the book Democracy in Retrograde by Sami Sage and Emily Amick.

We will meet after coffee hour on the following dates:

November 16 (read up to page 121)

December 7 (read up to page 237)

You can still come to the group even if you haven’t finished or disagree with the reading. Respectful discussion is always welcome!

Democracy in Retrograde is available as a book, audiobook, and e-book through the CW Mars library system. If you choose to buy the book, we respectfully request that you purchase through a local book seller or through Bookshop.org, and not through Amazon.
