UUCW Wednesday Evening Peace Vigil – Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm, UUCW Gardens

Join us for a Peace Vigil on Wednesdays at 6:30

To help cope with all that is going on locally, nationally and around the world, we are continuing to hold a Peace Vigil at UUCW, gathering around the peace pole, Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 to 7:30. What began in response to the June bombing on Iran is still needed with no end in sight for wars around the world ICE crack downs, threats of national guard troops, and policy wars on free speech, people experiencing poverty, immigrants and anyone needing social services and believers in climate change.  Let’s come together with songs and readings, light a candle, and stand in solidarity.  If you have the Rise Up Singing songbook, bring it with you or words to some favorite songs that move you.  Signs are welcomed.  Bring your children, neighbors and friends. Singing on key is not a requirement.  As it will continue to get dark earlier, we may consider moving up our meeting time.  Stay tuned.
