UUCW is hosting at the In The Hour of Need (IHN) family shelter the week of January 15 through January 21, 2023. IHN works in partnership with the faith community to provide shelter and assistance to families with children who are homeless. The program’s primary goals are to assist families in increasing their income and to help them secure permanent housing, while providing the critical support services necessary for them to succeed.
I invite you to sign up for an evening (5:30-8:30) or an overnight slot (8:30 pm-6:30 am Sun-Thurs/8:30 pm-8:30 am Fri & Sat).
New people are welcome. We will give you a tour of the house and review their guidelines before volunteering. You may also join someone that has already signed up or visit Sheri at 91 June Street for a tour. If you’ve been thinking about it or have questions, please email me at .
