UUCW Book Club- December 14, 7 -8:30 PM

Wednesday, December 14th at 7 PM in Fellowship Hall we will discuss Lisa Napoli’s group biography “susan, linda, nina & cokie – the extraordinary story of the Founding Mothers of NPR.

You’re welcome if you haven’t finished the book, and even if you’ve not read it but want to listen in on the discussion. Each book you read adds a new shelf to your brain!

Our books include fiction and non-fiction and are chosen by our members each July.  Contact the Book Club at bookgroup@uucworcester.org if interested in joining us and to get a copy of the current reading list.  All readers are welcome.

December – Susan, Linda, Nina, and Cokie—the Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR by Lisa Napoli. (Betty J)

January – Woodrow on the Bench by Jenna Blum  (Johanna Spencer) About death and dying as told through the author’s Labrador Retriever.

February – The Code Breaker by Walter Isaacson (Nancy) Traces the discover of DNA and RNA, the creation of the COVID vaccine through the work of Nobel Prize winner scientist Jennifer Doudna and others.
