Please join us this Sunday, June 26th from 1:30-5:30 pm to get your creativity on! This is primarily a gathering for quilting and sewing enthusiasts… but is open to anyone doing any sort of creative work who wants an open space to work and a lot of nice people to be around. We will gather in July and maybe in August… and plan to be on an approximately 3 week rotation all year long.
Social Threads is a quilting and sewing community who meet approximately every three weeks in the Fellowship Hall of UUCW from 1:30pm-5:30pm. All experience levels and types of creative projects (not just sewing!) are welcome. We charge a drop-in fee of $10 and ask that you bring your own machine and tools. You can work on your own projects, or jump into our group projects or both!
We want to keep all participants safe, so we ask for you to RVSP to ensure good spacing. At this point in time we are asking participants to wear masks if they choose or are not vaccinated for any reason.
