Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well and surrounded by peace.

I am writing with exciting news — and a heartfelt invitation. Our church is hosting a Gala Evening on December 13th, from 6-10pm at the Jean McDonough Arts Center in Worcester. Our goal is to raise funds for the care and preservation of our beloved church home — the place that welcomes us week after week for worship, laughter, meals, music, and the many moments that bind us together as a community.

Over the years, our building has become far more than a space of worship. It has grown into a true home — a gathering place where friendships are formed, classes inspire growth, families celebrate milestones, and neighbors find comfort and belonging. It is a cornerstone of our shared life, and we hope to ensure it remains strong and welcoming for generations to come.

This Gala will be a beautiful evening filled with wonderful food, joyful music, heartfelt laughter, and cherished companionship — a celebration of all that our church means to us, and an opportunity to give back to the space that gives so much.

We would be deeply grateful for your help in spreading the word — inviting family, friends, and all who hold this community close to their hearts. Whether through your presence, your voice, or your support in any form, you will play a vital part in making this event not only a success, but a lasting tradition of love and stewardship for years to come.

UUCW is holding a Flea Market/Yard Sale on September 25 under the big white tent, right before it comes down.

For just $20, rent a table and sell your wares and crafts at our busy intersection. Your $20 goes to the church. Your profits (and leftovers) go home with you.

And there’s more! UUCW wants your Christmas items! Drop them off early on September 25. Leftovers will be sold at the Craft Fair on December 4. All money for Christmas items will go to the church. You don’t have to be a vendor to donate these items.

It’s first come/first served, so book early! To reserve a spot and an 8-foot table, contact Janet Stone at mstone12242 at charter dot net or 508-799-0842 by September 23.
