Join us in Fellowship Hall to make sandwiches to stock the Woo Fridges. I will provide bread, sunbutter, jelly, bologna, mayo, and sandwich baggies. You don’t need to bring anything, but if you would like you can contribute any of the following: sliced cheese, juice boxes, bottled water, small chip bags, granola bars. We will have time to share joys & sorrows while we work. After the service, I will drop off the food at the Greendale and College Square fridges. Self-care and communal care are vital ways to cultivate resilience and sustainable resistance. Join us as we discuss the concept of self-care within the context of a broader social analysis.    

We will explore questions such as:
How can self-care lead to deeper connections within our communities?
How can we practice self-care in a way that defies messages of isolation, hustle culture, and competition?
How can self-care be a force to resist paradigms of oppression?

The service will conclude with a short guided meditation.
