As has been the tradition at UUCW for a number of years, we will again offer a series of Summer Sunday Morning Worship opportunities at 10 am in-person and online.  These services will be offered by members and friends of the congregation on a range of topics and experiences.  Please see the list below for this Summer’s series of services.  Though formal child-care and Religious Exploration Classes for children is not offered, families of all sizes are welcome to attend.  Services will be held in the lounge unless the activity involved is scheduled for elsewhere on the property or vicinity.

A Trip to Overlook Farm with Jessie Trowbridge

Join us for our Summer Service at Overlook FARM (Food Awareness Resource of Massachusetts) in Rutland. We’ll begin at 10:00, and our morning will include a tour of the Overlook gardens, learning a little more about the FARM’s history and mission, and some optional light garden work harvesting garlic. Children are welcome. In case of rain, we will still be able to visit the FARM with some garden tasks we can do in our greenhouse. Overlook FARM’s address is 216 Wachusett St, Rutland, MA. Getting to Overlook FARM:

We share a driveway with Lilac Hedge Farm, located at 216 Wachusett Ste, Rutland MA. Drive up the hill to the main parking lot, where you will see three main buildings. We will meet by the smallest barn on the left, which has an Overlook FARM sign on the side of the building. From there, we will walk down to the garden space. Please consider wearing sturdy shoes and sun protection (hat and sunscreen) and you are welcome to bring gardening gloves if you would like. Also consider bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated!
