The Rev. Dawn Skjei Cooley writes, “Because we have not always had the courage to be imperfect, We let go of who we ought to be and embrace who we are…” This Sunday we will explore the theme of vulnerability through the lens of imperfection and the necessity of embracing imperfection as a spiritual gift.
We are also delighted to welcome the Ahimsa Sacred Circle Dance Group to our sanctuary. The group will perform as part of our service this week.
Our 50/50 Collection this month is in service to Overlook Farm, a working farm with deep roots in central Massachusetts that teaches the value of sustainable agriculture and promotes food justice to grow a healthy world. For 35 years people have been coming to this farm, volunteering, experiencing agricultural programming, and meeting other people who care about farming and food. The new Overlook FARM will allow the tradition of agricultural education, improving food access and stability, and understanding of food production to continue and grow in a new way.
