John Dewey once remarked, “The path of least resistance and least trouble is a mental rut already made. It requires troublesome work to undertake the alternation of old beliefs.” This Sunday we honor the work of the YWCA Domestic Violence Services with our 50/50 collection and ask what forms of resistance are required for the transformation of our communities, country, and the world to end interpersonal violence and warfare.
