One of the great things about this congregation is that it is part of a tradition which locates the decision-making and mission-articulating power of the institution in its membership.  As a community governed by “congregational polity” members elect leadership and volunteer in a variety of ways to direct the course of our mission and ministries.  We are truly a “prophethood of all believers” to quote Unitarian Universalist Theologian and Ethicist, James Luther Adams.

Members and friends find a variety of opportunities to live out their deepest spiritual longings and to utilize their best personal gifts to benefit the world we serve and the faith-community we grow in order to serve.  We do this by being part of :

  • working groups
  • task forces & committees
  • ministry teams
  • religious education teachers
  • youth mentors & advisors
  • worship associates
  • and so much more!
