Our
Heritage... |
|
| |
|
The First
Univeralsist Society of Worcester called its first Minister in
1841. Our first home was in the "Harding Block" near Town Hall. We
erected a magnificent church on Pleasant Street in 1871 and built
our current church in 1955. Eight years after the merger of the
Unitarian and Universalist Associations, we changed our name. We
were designed a Welcoming Church by the UUA in 1995. 22 ministers
have served our Congregation during its 164 years of continuous
existence. |
